Digital Art
Most of my photography work involves a lot of planning, scouting for locations, targeting the best light, framing the right composition and eventually making necessary edits whether it is combining bracketed exposures, fixing contrast, colors etc. All this is for one goal only – get a result that accurately reflects the scene and moment I experienced and that can immediately bring me back there.
But things do not always go to plan unfortunately e.g. light conditions do not materialise as expected, clouds show up ruining a moonlit sky, etc. The composition of the shots still works, but a bit of magic is needed to properly bring them to life.
During COVID-19 2020 lockdown, not being able to travel and take photos as much as I am otherwise used to, I decided to get into digital art and call on my creative side (hmmm) to review some of my old photos and show them in an unexpected new light. This gallery is a new collection that will keep growing in the future. I am only using my photos to create these, and a little bit of editing magic. Let me know what you think in the comments section.
